(“PBI”), a non-reporting British Columbia company, for the present and proposed purpose of owning, financing, developing, constructing and operating a proposed briquette and bio energy manufacturing and distribution facility and business to be operated on certain lands and premises located in Mission, BC (the “Premises”), which are owned and operated by an affiliate of 0733403 B.C. Ltd. (“TCG”) which, in consideration thereof, is intended to be a 25% shareholder, with the Company as to 75%, in PBI going forward (collectively, the “Venture”).

CFS has completed planting 92,000 Jack pine seedlings on 40 hectares of land during stage one of its first North American reforestation project, in coordination with Trees for Clean Air (TFCA). The total land in the Project area is 45 hectares. CFS in cooperation with TFCA will plant the remaining 5 hectares with fast-growing willows in early fall 2009, during stage two of the Project.

(TSX Venture Exchange: CFQ) (“CFS“ or the “Company”) is pleased to announce its wholly owned subsidiary Global CO2 Reduction Inc. has signed its first North American land based carbon sequestration project agreement (“the Agreement”) with Trees for Clean Air Inc. (TFCA). This 61 hectare reforestation pilot project is located in Northern Ontario and will remove approximately 225,000 tonnes of CO2 over the duration of the project period and generate the equivalent of 225,000 carbon credits for sale in the Voluntary offset market.

The TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing documentation with respect to a non-brokered private placement of units, each unit consisting of one common share and one-half of one warrant at 50 cents. Each whole warrant expires 24 months from the date of closing of the non-brokered private placement and entitles the holder to purchase one common share of the company for 75 cents. A total of 4,145,000 common shares and 2,072,500 warrants were issued.
